Erase Launches Scholarship to Support Future Leaders in Law and Justice

Scholarship Aims to Empower Undergraduate Students in Criminology and Legal Studies with a Focus on Mental Health and Social Impact

MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / July 7, 2025 / Erase is proud to announce the launch of the Erase Scholarship, a new $1,000 award aimed at supporting undergraduate students pursuing degrees in criminology or legal studies. The scholarship is hosted on Bold.org and is open to students in two- or four-year undergraduate programs across the United States.

This initiative reflects Erase's ongoing mission to support fairness, justice, and personal empowerment, both online and in society at large.

"The legal system shapes people's lives in profound ways," said Cenk Uzunkaya, CEO of Erase. "We wanted to give back by helping the next generation of legal minds, those who are driven not only by their career goals but by a desire to make a real difference in the world."

The legal field plays a critical role in safeguarding rights, upholding justice, and addressing systemic inequality. Yet many aspiring legal professionals face steep financial barriers to entry. The Erase Scholarship is designed to ease that burden while spotlighting applicants who show:

  • Ambition and Drive

  • Commitment to Social Impact

  • Awareness of Mental Health and Its Influence on Personal Growth

Applicants are invited to submit a 400-600 word essay responding to questions about their reading habits, mental health experiences, and plans for creating positive change through their future careers.

"There's real power in reflection," said Alyssa Durant, Director of Human Resources. "This scholarship is about more than grades. It's about learning, resilience, and how those qualities shape someone's purpose in the world."

The application is open now and will close on October 2, 2025. The winner will be announced on October 31, 2025.
